🍽️Marigold Kitchenette
Famous forLong-running homey kitchenette on Bonifacio Street in Gasan — wide menu of sizzling silogs, burgers, pizza, and pasta at value prices, with a sea-view location near the Gasan poblacion.
About this place
Marigold Kitchenette is on Bonifacio Street in the Gasan Poblacion, and it's one of the broadest menus you'll find at a single Marinduque kitchenette. Sizzling silogs, hamburgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and rice meal combos all on the same laminated card. The pricing is the other thing: solo sizzling silogs run ₱85 to ₱115. A regular hamburger is ₱30. Even the family-size pizza tops out at ₱280.
It's the kind of place where, if you have four people in your party with four different cravings, all four of them find something they actually want.
What You'll Find
The sizzling section is the big draw. Solo plates with rice — Pork Sisig ₱95, Chicken Sisig ₱105, Beef Sisig ₱115, Beef Tapa ₱85 (₱100 with egg), and plain Chicken or Pork at ₱90 — and group portions for two without rice that run from ₱105 (Beef Tapa) up to ₱155 (Beef or Pork). They come out properly sizzling, with the sauce still bubbling when the plate hits the table.
Hamburgers are surprisingly substantial for the price. A regular Burger is ₱30, Cheese Burger ₱38, Cheese Burger with egg ₱48, and the indulgent CB-Double Patty is ₱55. There's a whole "Zion's Beefy Burger" series — Beefy Burger ₱60, Beefy Cheese ₱70, Beefy Cheese Egg ₱80, the loaded Beefy Cheese Cheese-DP at ₱125, and the Zion's Extreme at ₱150 if you're going all in. Add fries and a Coke combo for an extra ₱45.
Pizza comes in regular and family sizes. Ordinary ₱105/₱140, Ham & Cheese ₱120/₱155, Hawaiian ₱130/₱165, Ham & Mushroom ₱155/₱185, Meaty Meat ₱205/₱260, Ziom's Pizza ₱220/₱270, and Zion's Aloha at ₱230/₱280 for the full pineapple-pork loaded version. Pasta runs from a base spaghetti at ₱60 through a few variants.
There's a sea-view section toward the back — ask for it when you sit down. It's the closest you'll get to eating with the strait in the picture without leaving the Poblacion.
The Vibe
Casual sit-down kitchenette. Single-room interior, ceiling fan, regular Gasan crowd. The kind of place locals end up at when they want something fast and reliable rather than a destination meal.
A Heads-Up
The menu is wide enough that "out of stock" on a specific item is a real possibility, especially toward closing. Have a backup pick in mind, or call ahead. The most-detailed online reviews are also a few years old — prices on the visible menu graphics may have moved, so confirm at the counter.
