About this place

A historic lighthouse on Baltazar Island (one of the Tres Reyes Islands) originally built by American colonial authorities between 1901–1903. The original structure was destroyed by typhoons; a modern replacement was built through a JICA/Japan ODA grant. A geodetic azimuth station established in 1906 also remains on the island.

November to May (dry season). Avoid typhoon months (June–October).
