🏝️Boac Fishing Port
About this place
Boac Fishing Port is a working port in Boac, Marinduque, where small fishing vessels and local bangkas dock to unload the day's catch. It offers an authentic glimpse of coastal Marinduque life beyond the main ferry terminal.
Watch the Daily Activity
Visitors are welcome to watch the daily activity of local fishermen as small fishing vessels and bangkas come in with the day's catch — a working slice of coastal Marinduque rather than a polished tourist site.
Fresh Seafood Off the Boats
The port is also a place to buy fresh seafood straight off the boats — a direct, no-middleman option for travelers staying somewhere with a kitchen or anyone curious about what the local catch looks like.
Beach Views, Especially at Sunset
Beyond the working activity, the site offers beach views — especially at sunset, when the port becomes a popular spot for photography along this stretch of the Boac coast.
For travelers who want to see how the coast actually works in Boac, the fishing port is a short, honest stop — and an easy detour for sunset photos at the end of the day.
Best Time to Visit
November to May (dry season). Avoid typhoon months (June–October).

GoogleThis place has always been a popular location for photo shoots. The port ruins which remains the main attraction gives great sunset view. The sand is not white but the area is fairly clean. This is public area where you can go and enjoy the beach for free. Although you should be careful because there are also no life guards. They occasionally hold events (e.g. bar and restaurant set ups, art displays and mini concerts). If you go here early in the morning, you may get the chance buy fresh fish from local fishermen.
This is a nice shoreline in Marinduque to catch a lovely sunset given that there is a good weather ,though. there are several nipa huts/kubo style that you can rent if you would want to chill and drink the night out though infrastracture and establishment construction are still ongoing. Hoping to be back to see the improvements soon 💖
