About this place
Boac Pier serves as one of Marinduque's principal seaports, connecting the island to mainland Luzon via regular passenger and cargo ferry services.
Arrival and Departure for Travelers
The pier is the primary arrival and departure point for many travelers visiting Boac and the wider province — for a lot of visitors, the first and last sight of Marinduque happens right here.
A Scenic Vantage on the Sibuyan Sea
Beyond its function as a seaport, Boac Pier is a scenic vantage point for watching inter-island vessels and the Sibuyan Sea — a quietly memorable corner of the island worth a few minutes' pause.
Onward Transport to Boac Proper
Small tricycles and jeepneys wait at the pier to take arriving passengers to accommodations in Boac proper — the practical link between the seaport and the rest of the trip.
Boac Pier isn't a destination in itself, but as one of Marinduque's principal seaports, it sets the tone for the trip — arrive here, catch a tricycle into Boac proper, and the island is already in front of you.
Best Time to Visit
November to May (dry season). Avoid typhoon months (June–October).

GoogleVery satisfactory.. except for the irregular trips and expensive tricycle fares compared to Balanacan port. No jeepney terminals nearby. There is also no Porter or passenger assistants to help you. Also, no stores inside the port area. You have to walk a few meters to the main road to by some food. But the terminal is good for waiting. There is adequate and clean comfort rooms. At night, the view of the night sky and boat lights is really good.
This is the second port connecting Marinduque to Lucena City and jump-off point to Romblon and Oriental Mindoro.
